Chitwan : The District Administration Office has directed the closure of 45 educational counseling and language training centers operating without official approval in Chitwan district.
According to the office, these centers have failed to obtain necessary permissions from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and the Bagmati Province Ministry of Social Development. The administration has instructed the police to shut down these unauthorized institutions.
“The administration has already notified the district police to take necessary actions against the centers that have not submitted required documents,” the notice issued by the DAO reads.
Earlier, the administration had issued notices in multiple phases urging counseling centers to present valid licenses. While 241 centers submitted their documents in the first phase, 16 centers did so in the second, and 21 in the third phase.
The remaining institutions, which failed to comply, are now ordered to close operations immediately. This move follows reports of fraudulent activities involving unauthorized counseling centers in the district.
