KATHMANDU : In an intense clash at the Asian Games, India secured a victory against Nepal in men’s cricket during the first quarter-final match held this morning.
India emerged victorious by a margin of 23 runs, securing a spot in the tournament’s semi-finals.
India, having won the toss, chose to bat first and set a challenging target of 203 runs for Nepal. In response, Nepal’s batting lineup could only muster 179 runs while losing nine wickets during the allotted overs. Despite a valiant effort, Nepal fell short of the required runs, leading to India’s victory.
