JANAKPURDHAM: Two ministers of Madhesh Province have resigned from their posts. A minister without portfolio and a minister of state have resigned from their posts. Minister without portfolio Basanta Kushwaha and Minister of State Sanjay Kumar Yadav have resigned on the instructions of the party.
On May 23, Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav appointed Govinda Neupane of Unified Socialist, the Minister of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, which was held by Janamat’s Kushwaha, and the latter became a minister without portfolio.
In the expansion of the cabinet for the sixth time, the provincial government has prepared to remove Kushwaha and Yadav and send party chief whip Chandan Singh and Manju Khang from Dalit for the province minister.
CM Yadav currently holds the Ministry of Home Affairs, Communications and Law and Ministry of Labor and Transport in the province. In the new cabinet, it has been decided that Mohammad Samim of Saptari will be the minister from the Nepali Congress. He was elected from Saptari constituency no 3.
An MP of Janamat said that it has been agreed to send Chandan Singh to the Ministry of Labor and Transport. The Madhesh Province government has prepared to expand the Council of Ministers for the sixth time today.
