KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 82 new cases of COVID-19 along with 65 recoveries and one death from the deadly virus on Wednesday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 1,634 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 37 PCR and 45 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.
There are currently 361 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 29 are in institutional isolation, five in ICUs and one on ventilator.
Meanwhile, the health ministry has urged one and all to take caution and also get themselves a booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
